You can see the lights on in this view and the clouds that I was talking about. I'm still waiting for the paint to dry in some places. That is one reason for working with large pieces. You can work in one area while the other dries. I want to just paint in acrylics. They are much cheaper and dry fast. I can remember not wanting to use oils. Now I love them. I'm learning every time I pickup a brush. Spray can. Whatever.....

Messy garage
I clean my garage. I know it looks bad. It gets messy when I paint. I know my wife appreciates that. Don't you love it when things fall into place. Gotta love it... Next weekend.. I'll clean it then. The painting in the background to the left is one that I consider done. Almost done. 3/4 of the way.
"Vengeance is mine!" sayest the Lord is what I call it. I like the way it turned out.
I loved working on the clouds. Different layers of paint. Tribal, wavy designs. Clouds are fun to paint. I used paint markers , and oil paints from the tube. The oil pens are good to use for detailed work or outline.

Loco en la cabesa
Here's another painting in the works. This one is 4ft by 8ft tall. On canvas. Mixed media. I stretch my own canvas. I do get drop offs from work (left over material) and buy the canvas at Home Depot. Or use linen sheets. High count.
I prefer to work with large areas. The more the merrier. Hopefully someone has a large enough wall for it. On this one I actually used nail polish on some of the circles. A red transparent color. I loved the effect it had on it. Experimenting is fun.

This first view is the way I originally planned it. Actually, I never plan anything. I try to go with the flow. I try.. The tribal bands are of mahogany wood. I then changed my mind to the one you see below.. or to the side .... where ever it is...
Notice the baby face inside the seed pod in the center. I got the baby face off of a dolls head. From the Flea Market. The wood I get from work. Drop offs..
I use a scroll saw, the one I got for my wife for X-mas, to cut most of the details you see. Sometimes I use a jigsaw. It depends on the wood and the thickness, and what kind of curves you want.

The beginning
I love to paint. Oil, Acrylics, Pastels, spray paint. Basically whatever I find around in the garage..I also love to use found objects. Flea markets are a good source for all kinds of materials. I love Flea Markets. I am especially fond of metal objects. Why? I don't know. Maybe because it cleans up nice and shiny after a good buff with sand-paper. Whatever..
Here you can see my mess in the garage. Where it all happens. If this garage could talk. It would cuss!! I have my music machines ready to blast. Need to listen to some grooves when painting. It helps me think and meditate at times.
